Higher Education a Year into the Trump Administration—Offense and Defense

The 12/2 Community Forum is a space for us to take stock of where we are, the challenges we face, and the opportunities ahead of us one year into the Trump administration and its higher education policies.

At the Forum, we will discuss key issues facing higher education and Hopkins, including Trump’s compact for higher education, viewpoint diversity, policies on institutional restraint, university budgets, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and challenges to academic freedom. We are also delighted to have a special message from Senator Chris Van Hollen to Hopkins AAUP and to our community.
