In Defense of

American Universities

A Teach-in

In this teach-in, we will address the following questions:

1.     How has the Trump administration impacted Hopkins?

2.     Specific actions we can take.

3.     What role can the AAUP play at this moment?

To address these questions, speakers will present several case studies from across the university that will illustrate:

·       Impacts that funding cuts have had on our research

·       Elimination of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs

·       Restrictions on research topics

·       Impacts on international / non-citizen students and faculty
